Rescue...

The one you left at the pound.

The one you had for seven years,

and no longer wanted around

I ADOPTED YOUR DOG TODAY

Do you know he's lost weight?

Do you know he's scared and depressed, and has lost all his faith?

I ADOPTED YOUR DOG TODAY

He had fleas and a cold,

but don't worry none,

You've unburdened your load.

I ADOPTED YOUR DOG TODAY....

Were you having a baby or moving away?

Did you suddenly develop allergies

Or was there no reason he couldn' t stay?

I ADOPTED YOUR DOG TODAY

He doesn't play or eat much.

He's very depressed, but he will learn again to trust.

I ADOPTED YOUR DOG TODAY....

And here he will stay.

He's found his forever home,

and a warm bed on which to lay.

I ADOPTED YOUR DOG TODAY....

And I will give him all that he could need.

Patience, love, security, and understanding,

hopefully he will forget your selfish deed.

A few of her favorite things

These are Sadie's favorite toys. They are indestructible! She can chew and demolish every other toy I buy her, but not these! So, if you have a dog that chews, buy these. She's only take the ear off of the "bad cuz." The green one is the "good cuz." They make them in all different sizes. These are obviously for large dogs.

I bought Sadie's at petsmart. They're slighly noisy too.

Beginning of the Christmas Season

Sadie's first Christmas Tree with us. She was a bit tired from following me as I put up the decorations. She thinks she can hide by it.

Of course she needs her own stocking for Santa to fill!
Sadie's first snow with us.

She loves frisbees!
She tends to prance in it.

The ladies fall tea

The ladies tea this year was Autumn Abundance or bountiful harvest, something like that. Mom and I's table. The music from our men's quartet.

Unplanned remodel

So Doug was going to re-caulk the shower. He started to peel off the caulk, which was wet. He then pulled off the paneling and the greenboard. We found some lovely tile beneath it all!

Sadie trying to help.
Temporary fix so we could take a shower.Doug pounded out the tile.

Doug pounded out the tile.
The new surround and the new color. The paint was peeled off in a couple spots because of the tape used to hold the surround up while the glue dried.
